The legendary actor who gave life and personality to many monsters and roles in the early cinima horror film days. Karloff brought on-screen monsters into new light in his most memorable role as the Monster in the 1931 version of Frankenstein. Lon Chaney Sr, Lon Chaney Jr, Vincent Price, Bela Lugosi, Max Schreck, and Boris Karloff are considered to be the GodFathers of Horror films, it seemed only right to title this piece: 'The King of Horror'
