PostMortem

(This is waaaaay overdue....)
The opening night was frighteningly amazing. Over 400 people that walked through Eyedrum's door that night. Three fantastic bands rocked it out.  And we managed to burn down a 10 x 12 x 5 foot sculpture of the city of Atlanta in the parking lot without having the fire department show up.

Check out the photos here and here.

Thanks again to everyone who was involved and who helped us throw an unforgettable event!

The Milton the Monster Show

Picture taken from Dave Mackey

"It's thrilling and chilling,
and oh so shock filling,
The Milton the Monster Show;
It's daring and scaring,
you'll find yourself staring,
at Milton the Monster's Show;
Your flesh will creep,
your heart will thump,
the sites will paralyze;
But then you'll see the strangest things
that ever met your eyes!
It's loony and goony,
and practically swoony;
You'll shake and you'll quake,
at the sights that they make,
on The Milton the Monster Show!
Introducing the star of the show, Milton the Monster.
He blows his stack
when he flips his lid;
Although he's a monster
he's just a big kid;
And now he's ready to go,
on The Milton the Monster Show."

Life Within the Diary

Monster Diary? What’s that?

[Diligent kigurumi maker Atsushi Tomura's] Monster Diary is just that - a diary of blank pages of which I fill one each day with a drawing of a monster.

Everyday!? You mean, you get different ideas every single day?

Sometimes ideas come easily, sometimes it takes more time. But basically, anything goes with monsters, so there’s no limit whatsoever. Draw a bizarre shape and add eyes and facial features, and that makes another monster. I even see one in my dreams from time to time.
